H.E. Jamal al-MoosawiSecretary General
Jamal al-Moosawi, Secretary General of National Museum – Sultanate of Oman, has a Bachelor Degree of Arts with Honors in Visual Communication and a Master Degree of Design in Visual Communication from Edinburgh College of Art, Edinburgh, Great Britain. From 2006 to 2008, he has worked as the Regional Arts Projects Manager (Middle East) at British Council Middle East, and as the Curator at the Museum of Modern Arab Art (Qatar Foundation), Doha, State of Qatar. H.E. Jamal al-Moosawi has worked at National Museum – Sultanate of Oman as Project Director, Director General, and Secretary General since 2010. In 2018, H.E. Jamal al-Moosawi was the Co-Curator of the exhibition “Belarus at the Crossroads of Civilization”, and the Lead Curator of “Oman Day” and “The 23rd Arab Gulf Cup Exhibition”. He has published catalogues, Highlights: The National Museum, The Art of Seeing Nature, and The Art of Seeing Nature, his articles have been included in the monthly journal, Masterpieces from the National Museum.
